Important Reminders
- Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color
- No facials, Botox, Chemical treatment or Microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
- Avoid hot sweaty exercise for one week
- Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure and wear a hat when outdoors.
- Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days.
- Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
- Avoid face-down swimming and hot tubs for the first 10 days.
- Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the area.
- DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area.
- Limit your showers to 5 minutes so that you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair.
- Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
Day 14: Brows are safe from the water. Clients may return to normal skincare routines. Brows will appear very light, after your scabs come off every week up to 6 weeks, color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again.
Day 30 to 42: Your Brows are healed and you feel unstoppable!!!
Eyebrows Pre-Care and Rules Prior to Booking
PRE-CARE MUST BE CLEARED PRIOR TO BOOKING
- Please do not wear Makeup to the salon on the day of your procedure.
- Please shampoo your hair before your appointment since you won’t be able to wet your Brows for a couple of days after the procedure.
- DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL, COFFEE, OR ENERGY DRINK 24HRS BEFORE THE YOUR TREATMENT.
- Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E 24 hours before your treatment (Tylenol OK).
- Brows shaping using Waxing, Threading, or Tweezing, Tinning should be performed at least 48 hours before the procedure.
- Electrolysis treatment should be undergone no less than 5 days before the treatment.
- Chemical peels, Laser, Retin-A or BOTOX should not be utilized 4 weeks BEFORE and AFTER the procedure. If not the area will bleed and pigment will not heal properly.
- Been off of ACCUTANE for One year
- Had facial with in the last 2 weeks prior to appointment

You should avoid this procedure or consult a doctor before booking a treatment if have any of these pre-existing health conditions.
Eyebrows Healing and What to Expect
- DO NOT expect your permanent makeup to heal perfectly after only one session, this is most often a 2-step process.
- Redness, swelling, scabbing, irritation, itching and dry tightness may occur.
- Brows may appear too dark or slightly uneven. After 3-7 days the darkness will fade and one swelling dissipates unevenness usually disappears.
- Color change or color loss. As the procedure area heals, the color might appear lighter and sometimes seem to disappear.
- The most dramatic and visual healing and scabbing is usually done by day 14.
- The entire healing process takes approximately 4 weeks, when the final look/color of your eyebrows will be apparent. Then the process is repeated after touch up appointment.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
You are getting tattoo so some discomfort is expected. However, the pain level is very minimal to none. A topical numbing cream is applied. Which usually reduces the pain level to none. Please note that everyone’s pain is different. Topical anesthetics work better for some than others. The numbing cream may not work as well on you if you are a smoker or if you have scar tissue on your brows from previous tattoo work. Sensitivity to pain is also increased during your menstrual cycle.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL? WILL I BE ABLE TO GO TO WORK
Yes, you will be able to go back to work. The service offered do not have any down time. For eyebrows, healing can take up to 14 days. For lip Blush, It can take up to 7 days. It is important to follow the aftercare instructions, especially not applying makeup to the treated area, until it is completely healed. This is to carefully ensure the best result.
CAN I GET THEM WET OR WORKOUT?
In order to reduce the risk of complications or infection, it is best to keep the enhanced area dry for at least a week. This also helps in retaining the pigmentation and you’ll end up with poor results.
IS THE SECOND (TOUCHUP) APPOINTMENT NECESSARY?
It is highly recommended to ensure the shape, but this also depends on how well your skin retains the pigment.
IF MY BROWS WERE DONE BY A DIFFERENT ARTIST, WILL MY SERVICE BE CONSIDERED A TOUCH UP?
No, If your brows were done by a different artist, your service will be considered an initial appointment. Corrections done on previous work can be complicated, time consuming and results cannot be guaranteed.
WHY DO I HAVE TO AVOID ALCOHOL AND CAFFEINE?
Caffeine raises blood pressure and increases the blood flow. Alcohol is an anticoagulant, which slows down the body’s process of making clots. These two together means bleeding and less optimal results for you.
